Our Parent Company
A Second Thought Resale Shop opened in 2001 and offers clothing for the entire family, in addition to fashion accessories and housewares. The store is owned and operated by Heritage Christian Services, and all sale proceeds benefit the agency’s International Ministries, which includes collecting, refurbishing and matching wheelchairs to people in developing nations.
Heritage Christian Services partners with thousands of people throughout Rochester and Buffalo to ensure everyone – including children, older adults and people with developmental disabilities – feels valued and respected. Most of the agency’s nearly 4,000 employees work to support people so they can find the best place to live and work and build strong community connections, through residential support, day habilitation, respite programs, community habilitation, self-direction and employment supports.
